Harvard’s booty over $20 billion, but school’s cheeks still crimson

Harvard University’s endowment has once again surpassed $20 billion thanks to a hefty 21.1% return on its investments, pushing the total worth to $22.6 billion.

I’m sure the school appreciates the good news (although it can probably do without the nagging about the compensation structure for its fund managers), especially as the Ivy League’s good name is currently taking a hit after it was discovered that one its tenured professors, affirmative-action hire Charles Ogletree, lifted six ‘graphs from another author in his latest book. Being the stand up guy he is, Ogletree is blaming his assistants.

(Yeah, I linked to Yale Daily News. That’s the kind of heartless bastard I am).
