Kerry neighbors robbed, raped by black intruder
Two women were tied up and robbed in their Beacon Hill apartment just a few blocks from Senator John Kerry’s Boston mansion. Beacon Hill is Beantown’s toniest neighborhood and normally spared from such heinous crimes (I think at least four people have killed around where I live over the past few years, but there were perfectly good explanations for three of the killings, though not so for the fourth one).
One of the women was attacked just as she entered her building. She was forced into her apartment where she was tied up and raped. As he was raping her, the woman’s female roommate came home. She, too, was tied up. The attacker then robbed the apartment before leaving the scene.
The rapist is descreibed as “a 6-foot, non-Hispanic black man, about 20 years old with a slim build.” Police is still looking for him.
It is a bad deal when an area like Beacon Hill is hit by such a brutal crime. It is another example of how unbelievably crappy our chief of police Kathleen O’Toole is. Mayor Tom Menino really laid an egg when he appointed her early this year.
