Let’s not fight judicial activism with gerrymandering

The 9th Circuit Court is frequently seen as the ninth circle of hell by conservatives. It would, however, be arrogant and wrongheaded to split the 9th into several courts as a way to deal with its left-wing judicial imperialism. It is the President’s responsibility to appoint federal judges, and the Senate’s to approve them. What we need to do is maintain a Republican working majority on Capitol Hill, and keep a republican in the White House. We should not gerrymander our courts.
