Vdare.com exposes Belgian weasel passport shopper
Paul Belien writes about fellow Belgian Bart Geerts, a professor at University of Wyoming, on immigration-restrictionist web site Vdare.com. Like the vast majority of alien academics in America, Geerts has little but scorn for his host country, according to Belien. Geerts sees the relection of President George W Bush as a “day of mourning” and “a tragedy for America and the world.”
Belien quotes Geerts as follows:
“…for many of my friends emigrating to Canada has become an option. This is certainly the case for people who were not born in America, people with a broader perspective, people who had hoped to contribute to the frontier of enterprise, science and technology. “
But, accoridng to Belien, Geerts emailed Belgian Members of Parliament and apparently asked them to change Belgium’s citizenship laws to allow for dual citizenships. See, Geerts wanted to get an American citizenship to become eligible for federal funding of his research.
It’s like they said in the Old World in the olden days: The streets in America are paved with gold. Today that’s true for alien professors, at least.
It has been my opinion for some years that American universities employ as well as teach far too many aliens, a circumstance that has weakened American academia’s emotional and cultural ties to America. It’s time for America U. to cut loose from money-grabbing or visa-buying aliens.
