Rela World: Malaysia’s “Ops Tegas” nabs hundreds of illegal aliens

Malaysia’s long-awaited crackdown against illegal aliens, a campaign called Ops Tegas, finally kicked-off on March 1, and so far hundreds of illegals have been detained.

Here’s a Malaysia Mail report from a raid conducted by immigration officers and 200 members of the paramilitary volunteer organization Rela against a bufget hotel. 27 suspected illegal immigrants were nabbed in that raid.
