One if by bids, two if by Buy It Now: eBay Live comes to Boston in 2007
Online auction and e-commerce giant eBay will hold its annual event eBay Live in Boston in June 2007. It will be the first time a Live is held in the Northeast. The exact location hasn’t been announed yet, but I imagine it will be at the new convention center. This year’s event was held in Las Vegas and drew a record breaking 15,000 people. Whether Boston will attract as many visitors is an open question. While conventions aren’t really cheap anywhere, Boston of course has a reputation of being ridiculously expensive and also being, perhaps, not quite as fun as Vegas, baby! (One can’t write about Las Vegas without working in a “Vegas, baby!” One just can’t).
eBay Live is a mix of seminars and exhibits and lasts for three days.
