Hey, if it’s outside of Route 128, who really cares?
The guys on the Patriots Football Weekly In Progress podcast yesterday got an email from a listener in Nicaragua which prompted the following burst of on-air reactions from the hosts:
“Where’s Nicaragua??”
…
“Is that Imelda Marcos and the shoes and her husband and all that?”
…
“I thought there was something happening there?”
“Yeah, Noriega. Daniel Noriega.”
It reminded me of the greatest reaction to the aftermath of 9/11 that I’ve heard:
I don’t like knowing about Afghanistan. I liked myself much better before, when I was nice and ignorant.
