Commuter train accident kills two workers
Two workers were killed and a third injured when an MBTA commuter train hit them as they were working on the Lowell line train tracks. Passengers were bused between Woburn and Winchester stations after the accident. The picture below shows some of the buses lined up next to Winchester station on Tuesday evening.
I don’t if it was related to the accident, but North Station was packed with outbound passengers when I got there at about 6 .pm. I think the public announcer ask passengers to leave the platform but remain in the station or something to that effect. It’s good to do the reverse commute.
