Again and again and again
Regular readers are familiar with this theme, but here goes, as reported by the The Boston Globe‘s David Abel in article on Boston’s second murder in 2007:
Last year, there were 74 homicides, one fewer than in the previous year, when there was a 10-year high.
The Boston Police Department claims there were 75 murders last year and 73 the previous year.
