The Madoff Mess
I’m putting all links, observations and commentary regarding the Madoff mess in this post. It started off as a throwaway political one-liner but has since grown, initially because of the Madoff debacle’s impact on Boston. While I very rarely put a post in more than one category I have added it to not only Politics, but also Economy and, of course, Boston.
I’m just about praying to God that my upper-middle class Jewish acquaintances haven’t been taken to the cleaner by Madoff. When rich people lose half of their money they’re still rich, but for middle-class people half of the money is almost assuredly the difference between comfort and worry.
