New England Patriots regular-season schedule in 2010 is a good deal tougher than the one the team face last year. Not only have divisional opponents New York Jets and Miami Dolphins continued to improve, and not only are the Patriots again playing Indianapolis and Pittsburgh, but they also have to face teams like Baltimore, San Diego, Green Bay, Minnesota, Chicago and Cincinnati, all teams that are strong play offs contenders. There are also a couple of cupcakes: Buffalo and Detroit, and perhaps one can count Cleveland as one, too.

Nationally televised games

Patriots play a Monday night game at Miami, a Monday night game at home versus New York Jets, a Sunday night game at Pittsburgh and a Sunday night game at home versus Green Bay. The team also makes a rare Thanksgiving appearance at Detroit.
