Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten signs 1,200 copies of How easy is that? at the Natick Collection

Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa of Food Network television fame, is barnstorming the country’s Williams Sonoma stores for hugely popular book signing events for her new cookbook How easy is that?. Yesterday she visited the Williams Sonoma store in the Natick Collection mall in Natick, Massachusetts where she signed all available 1,200 copies of the book for 600 people. According to the one of the store’s workers it would have taken another 300 copies (and presumably half an hour) to satisfy the demand. The event started at noon but the line started forming before 7 am. Below are a picture of the line about halfway through the event, and a picture of Ina Garten signing a copy of How easy is that.
