Per Ahlmark: I heart Dubya coz he killz
Swedish single-issue pundit Per Ahlmark, your basic cross between WaPo columnist Charles Krauthammer and the Swedish Chef, is endorsing president George W Bush’s bid for reelection.
Not that Ahlmark cares much for our man from Texas, whom he views as a misogynist, homophobe tax cutter (who supports the death penatly to boot!). Ahlmark, however, is a generous fellar who is willing to overlook these perceived short comings since 43 is committed to killing muslims introduce democracy to the Middle East.
I support Bush, too, and if anything I wish he’d be more of a killer and less of an idealist. I just don’t understand how you can think of Jorge El Segundo as both a misogynist homophobe and Saint Libertus. What, he means ill but does well? Come on, people, let’s cut back on the OxyContin a little.
The real reasons to vote for Prince Eloquence are, in order, The War, judges, taxes, and marriage. As feeble as Dubya has been in appointing and promoting conservative judges, Democratic candidate John Kerry would, of course, be infinitely worse. Sandra Day O’Connor’s “where-am-I-in-my-cycle-today”-court just barely saved “three strikes and you’re out” laws. A Kerry-packed court would make it “496 strikes and you really, really should see a counselor”. Anybody for 1960’s style murder and mayhem, please raise your right hand!
So, please, for the love of yourself, vote for the misogynist homophobe! He might even cut your taxes, if you’re lucky.
